Improving Performance through System Adoption in the Food & Beverage Industry
A snack manufacturer with 30+ sites across the US had purchased AVEVA Insight through another company however it was not being used effectively by the plants. Downtime was not being classified correctly or at all, creating bad data and the inability to identify top loss areas to drive targeted improvement projects against. The software became ‘shelfware.’
Solution
- InSource worked with the client to developed a phased approach to make the software more user friendly, educate operators, supervisors, AND leadership, and drive sustainable adoption.
- Worked with sites to build and communicate the ‘why’ behind the need to utilize the software
- Developed leader standard work (LSW) for supervisors and managers to routinely check in and provide accountability for utilization of the software
