As an AVEVA | Wonderware Certified Training Partner (CTP), InSource conducts product-specific, instructor-led training, as well as Continuous Improvement methodology classes on your site, virtually, or in our training centers.

At InSource, we offer our clients a range of delivery options, from free online self-serve, classroom, or on-site standard classes, to custom online or on-site engagements and needs assessments. Select the delivery option that best matches your requirements and budget.

Go beyond the traditional classroom and even instructor-led online classes and go at your own pace while learning the skills you need. Self-paced classes offer most of our core courses like InTouch, Historian, and Plant SCADA, with the same materials, and the same certificate of completion as our more traditional classes.

Delivery Options

Classroom Training Classes

InSource offers traditional classroom training at convenient locations around the Southeast. Classes are staffed with subject matter experts who have real world experience with the products. Our trainers bring advice and expertise beyond the training material. Our classroom settings are purposely kept to a max of 10 students to provide you with the most 1 on 1 interaction. You will be provided with detailed course materials and your own private training image. Classroom Value-Packs allow you to pre-purchase training seat coupons when budgets allow and use the coupons when time allows.

Live Online Training Classes

InSource provides live online instructor led training as an alternative to classroom training. You will receive the same training content with a live instructor as you would for classroom training without incurring travel expenses. You can be located anywhere in the world to participate in the class.

Self-Paced Training Classes

This goes beyond the traditional classroom and even instructor-led online classes to allow you to go at your own pace while learning the skills you need.
Students in our Self-Paced Classes will:
1. Receive the same course materials as the instructor-led classes
2. Have access to a live subject matter expert for any questions
3. Gain access to training images through our cloud service for three weeks
6. Meet one hour per week face-to-face with an instructor using Microsoft Teams
5. Email a class-dedicated email address and receive responses within one business day
7. Use training seats for these classes (System Integrators only)
8. Train when you have time over the three-week course
9. Receive a certificate of completion
The classes for Self-Paced Training include InTouch HMI (Standard Edition), Historian Server, Historian Client, and Citect (Plant SCADA) Configuration. 

On-Site Training Classes

InSource offers onsite instructor led training as an alternative to classroom training. You will receive the same training content as you would in one of our training facilities. The difference is – we come to you.

AVEVA™ Application Server

The Application Server course is a 4-day, instructor-led class designed to provide an overview of the features and functionality of Application Server.

AVEVA™ Edge

The AVEVA Edge Training course is a 4-day, instructor-led class designed to provide a fundamental understanding of the features and functionality of the AVEVA Edge software.

AVEVA™ InTouch for System Platform

AVEVA™ System Platform, formerly Wonderware. The InTouch for System Platform course is a 4-day, instructor-led class designed to provide an overview of the features and functionalities released with InTouch for System Platform.

AVEVA™ InTouch HMI (Standard Edition)

AVEVA™ InTouch HMI, formerly Wonderware.  The tag-based InTouch HMI (Standard Edition) course is a 4-day, instructor-led class that explains how to create and configure a Modern InTouch application.

AVEVA™ Operations Management Interface

The Operations Management Interface for System Platform course is a 4-day, instructor-led class designed to provide an overview of the features and functionalities released with Operations Management Interface for System Platform.

Plant SCADA (Formerly Citect)

This is a 4-day instructor-led class to help the student gain insight into Citect SCADA project design and become familiar with new integrated engineering interface, Citect Studio.

Wonderware Communications

The Wonderware Communications course is a 2-day, instructor-led class ideal for anyone responsible for development and maintenance of Wonderware technology including all aspects of internal and external data communications to InTouch, Application Server and Historian.

Wonderware InTouch Maintenance

A 3-day class designed for those individuals who are in the role of maintaining InTouch systems but does not need to create new systems, screens, etc. This would be ideal for maintenance professionals or others responsible for troubleshooting and keeping systems highly available.
Note: If you are a System Platform user, this class is NOT intended for you. You may benefit from the System Platform Maintenance class.

Wonderware System Platform Maintenance

The AVEVA™ System Platform, formerly Wonderware, Maintenance course is a 3-day, instructor-led class focused on Wonderware System Platform based architectures using Application Server Objects and InTouch for System Platform HMI Graphics.
Note: If you are a stand-alone InTouch user, this class is NOT intended for you. You may benefit from the InTouch Maintenance class.

Wonderware Historian Client

The Wonderware Historian Client course is a 2-day, instructor-led class designed to provide a fundamental understanding of the features and functionality of the Wonderware Historian Client software. The course provides lectures and hands-on labs to supply and reinforce the knowledge necessary to use Wonderware Historian Client.

Wonderware Historian Server

The Wonderware Historian Server course is a 2-day, instructor-led class designed to provide a fundamental understanding of the features and functionality of Historian Server for System Platform Applications. This course provides lectures and hands-on labs to supply and reinforce the knowledge necessary to use Wonderware Historian Server.

Dream Report Fundamentals

The Fundamentals of Dream Report technical training course is a 3 day, hands-on instructor-led class designed to provide students with a fundamental understanding of the Dream Report™ reporting software.

InBatch Batch Management

The InBatch Batch Management course is a 4-day, instructor-led class designed to provide a fundamental understanding of the features and functionality of the InBatch software.  The course provides lectures and hands-on labs to supply and reinforce the knowledge necessary to apply InBatch to a batch processing plant application. This includes creating the plant model, creating recipes, simulating their execution, and connecting InBatch to a plant control system.

Wonderware InBatch Development

The InBatch Development course is a 4-day instructor-led class that provides you with a fundamental overview of the concepts and terms associated with Wonderware InBatch Software. The course includes providing you with the opportunity to apply the product to a batch process application.

Wonderware MES Operations

The MES – Operations Instructor-Led Training course is a 4-day, instructor-led class designed to provide a fundamental understanding of the features and functionality of Wonderware MES Software/Operations.

Wonderware MES Performance
